How to install IPTV on an Amazon Fire TV Stick

The Fire TV Stick is one of the most popular ways to watch IPTV: it is affordable, plugs into any HDMI port and handles HD and 4K streams well. Here is how to get Novakstream running on it.

1. Prepare the Fire TV Stick

Make sure the stick is up to date: go to Settings, My Fire TV, About, then Check for updates. A current system keeps playback smooth.

2. Install the player

Search the Amazon Appstore for the player app named in your setup guide and install it. If your guide asks for a download code instead, follow the steps it lists for your model.

3. Sign in

Open the player and enter the username, password and server address from your Novakstream email. Use the on-screen keyboard carefully: one wrong character is the most common reason a login fails.

4. Get the best picture

  • Use the 4K model of the stick for 4K plans.
  • Keep the stick away from the back of the TV, or use the HDMI extender in the box, for a stronger Wi-Fi signal.
  • Close other apps before big live events.
